Great content, very accurate as always. Just one question Nathan, how do you manage "loosing position " with keywords ? You optimized your page, your post. During a period you were first on Google for this target keyword and after few weeks, few months, you lose the 1st position because of your competitors. You target an another keyword ? You refresh content ? Thx for your answer π

Hey Nathan, I always love the work you put on these guides.
Here's an alternative to sorting duplicate keyword:
1. select entire column.
2. right click>>Conditioning formatting.
3. format cell if>>>custom formula is.
4. Punch this code =countif(A:A,A1)>1
5. select the desired color and done/Save.
This will highlight any two instances with exact match value.
Sir most of the resources and tools you provided are paid. What about guys like me.
2018 vs 2020 how its new man
Why did you use the word "2020 (New)" in the video's title? The video is a year old – Dec 31, 2018.
Well, if these things still apply in 2020 but the word "(New)" in the video's title is a lie? Stay honest always!

First of all, great video. Wanted to ask your opinion about forums appearing on first page of search results. Does TripAdvisor qualify as a forum type result? I have a site in the travel niche and frequently come across TA on page one, especially for buying keywords such as best place to stay. Whatβs your opinion?

Every successful YouTube marketers becomes successful by f..king people over like this one. I just noticed that every single video published in 2018 now has 2020 or 2020 NEW in their titles. People watching are still blind not knowing that Google updates its algorithms more than 3000 times every year. Currently, SEO for niches like flights, hotels, sports, and so on are now systematically being killed by Google. For example, 2 years ago, when you type in your flight number, you can see ad and organic results about making you click to visit the site. But now, Google has improved the experience as you can find your answer directly without clicking to visit any site. Not only that, Google has also launched Buy On Google to challenge Amazon. This will systematically kill all ecommerce SEO because very soon, if you type in let's say … cheap dog food, you will be able to see not only results but buy directly from Google without visiting any dog food site. While this algorithm will kill SEO, it's gonna give more visibility for paid advertisers on Google. I'm not hating on these YouTube marketers, although they're also struggling like y'all to build their community.

I didn't hear you mention specifically what search volume range should I pick and choose the 10 keywords in the process? over 1000 volume per month?
with moz extension, DA + PA are indicators. You talk only about DR (domain rating) – I suppose this is AREF feature. Is this DR a combination of DA + PA? I see any value less than 50 for both DA and PA as a good sign to rank. Should I raise this threshold higher?
ahref costs beginner a leg and an arm. would this still work just using google keyword planner and ubersuggest?
